We are currently looking for a Planning Engineer for Telecommunication Systems (m/f/d) at DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH in Berlin.
Your responsibilities:
  • Your main focus will be on planning and designing (based on HOAI phases 1-9) telecommunication systems for railways, such as passenger information systems, cable systems, and transmission systems
  • You will create plans, technical reports, calculations, cost estimates, and tender texts
  • You will also review your own plans and those of third parties, advise stakeholders on technical issues, and keep track of documents for construction-related regulations
  • You will coordinate interfaces with neighboring construction and equipment technology disciplines
  • Lastly, you will participate in reviewing planning results from third parties (in-house and external services) in terms of cost, deadlines, and quality
Your profile:
  • You have successfully completed a degree in electrical engineering with a focus on telecommunications or a similar field
  • Ideally, you are familiar with railway operations and the rail-wheel system/ railway technology and are knowledgeable about the regulations, standards, and
