Overview:
Busy Sign Shop - Seeking a detail-oriented Production Layout/Designer to join our team. You will be responsible for creating and implementing visual designs for various projects. This is a great opportunity for recent grads with a passion for design and a keen eye for detail. Must enjoy working with your hands.


Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively hands on & independently to physically help make signs, decals, posters & banners
• Create and modify digital assets such as graphics, illustrations, and images
• Prepare final artwork files for production, including print and digital formats
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of designs & sign production
• Work with clients directly & sales / invoicing
• Assist with banner and decal installations. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs

Experience:

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Constantly shifting gears & reprioritizing. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
• Design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Canva
• Preferred
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout
• Knowledge of print production processes and file preparation
