RockTop Landscaping is looking for an entrepreneurial individual to join our General Manager trainee program. Upon successful completion of this in-depth, highly selective training program, the individual will be promoted to General Manager and be responsible for all landscaping operations in the Michiana area. General Managers are compensated through a competitive base salary PLUS a large bonus structure tied to the financial performance of the business.

Total compensation post completion of training program:
$150,000 to $250,000 based on performance


The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the landscaping business, including operations, sales, customer service, and employee management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the business and increase profitability
  • Lead the sales effort to acquire new customers and grow within the existing customer base
  • Oversee sales and marketing efforts to attract new customers and expand our client base
  • Manage daytoday operations, including scheduling, job assignments, and quality control
  • Hire, train, and supervise employees, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their jobs effectively
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitor financial performance and prepare regular reports for senior management
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Ad hoc tasks as required
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Proficiency in financial planning and analysis
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and vendors
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
  • Knowledge of horticulture, plant care, and landscape design principles
  • Proficiency in landscaping software and technology tools
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • High level of initiative and ability to work independently

Pay:
$150, $250,000.00 per year


Shift:

  • 8 hour shift

Weekly day range:

  • Monday to Friday
