For our client, a service laboratory with a central location in Heppner, OR, we are currently looking for a temporary laboratory assistant (m/f/d) in pre-analytical work, with the possibility of permanent employment:

Your responsibilities:

You will be responsible for ensuring the timely processing of incoming orders, such as emergencies, routine cases, etc.
You will be responsible for unpacking incoming orders
You will clarify unclear orders through a clearing center
You will register samples in the laboratory information system
In addition, your tasks will include checking the plausibility of order documents with the corresponding sample materials
You will also be responsible for digitizing and scanning order documents
You will be responsible for centrifuging sample materials
Sample distribution is also part of your responsibilities
After appropriate training, you will process study samples
After internal training, you will also assist with order processing
You will participate in internal training and further education courses

Your profile:

Ideally, you have completed vocational training in a medical field (e.g. medical assistant) or have a comparable education
You have a good command of the German language, both written and spoken
You have good MS Office skills
You are a team player
Experience in customer service over the phone is desirable
You are a reliable person with a quick grasp and precise working style
