    Senior Branch Services Specialist - Anchorage, United States - Global Credit Union

    Overview:

    Reports to: Varies by location

    Functions Supervised: None

    Primary Functions: Provide branch assistance to area branches. Assist in conducting training to branch employees with an emphasis placed on providing prompt, professional, helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous member service while recommending financial products and services to meet member needs. Provide support regarding new products, services, technology, and new programs and processes to encourage change. Contribute to the growth of the credit union by achieving individual, branch, and business line goals through leadership activities.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Actively engage with existing and prospective members to create a positive member experience that is consistent with the values and culture of the organization.
    2. Deepen member relationships through expert knowledge of credit union products and services and the execution of member engagement strategies through in-person conversations, relationship calling and referrals to other business lines.
    3. Use a consultative approach and resources such as the Member Vision Plan to develop solutions that will educate and improve member's financial well-being.
    4. Coach, lead and motivate branch employees, and assist with training of products and services and updates on policies and procedures for area branches.
    5. Build meaningful relationships by participating in branch promotions and community events.
    6. Obtain state mandated insurance license to quote and bind Personal Lines insurance products.
    7. Support the Member Service Center by monitoring call activities and appropriately allocating assistance as branch and MSC needs arise.
    8. Provide recommendations for branch and organizational enhancements with consideration for the member and employee experience.
    9. Assume supervision and responsibility for area branches as assigned.
    10. Perform other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications:

    Education: High school graduate or equivalent.

    Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Two years of increasingly responsible experience in a related field preferred.
    Experience/Skills: Passion for helping people and the drive to build relationships that assist members meet financial goals. Strong communication and personnel management skills. Ability to effectively ask open-ended questions, problem solve and provide solutions. Must be able to travel and may require use of own vehicle. Must be able to lift 25 pounds.

    Tenure: Senior Branch Services Specialist, Category 12, requires six months tenure in the Senior Financial Service Representative, Category 13 position, with performance that meets or exceeds expectations as stated on Performance Evaluation Plan. Directly related work experience and/or accelerated training completion may be substituted for tenure.

    Compensation:

    Senior Branch Services Specialist (Category 12)

    Salary Pay Range: $48,387 - $73,549 annually. Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and local or state wage requirements, if applicable and will fall within the range provided above.

    In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall within the minimum to midpoint of the listed range.
