'We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior People Executive (M/F/d) for our on-board train staff (Zugführer, Zugassistent, Ausbilder Zugpersonal) in Glendale Heights, IL. This is a unique opportunity to drive the growth of FlixTrain by establishing and guiding the people department for on-board train staff.

Your Responsibilities - Making the world greener

Strategic HR Planning: Develop and implement our onboard people strategy in alignment with overall business objectives, working closely with the senior leadership team.
Talent Acquisition: Oversee the talent acquisition process from employer branding to recruiting, including positioning FlixTrain as an employer of choice and defining recruitment strategies to meet growth goals.
Compensation & Benefits: Manage the compensation & benefits framework for FlixTrain onboard staff and collaborate with the central C & B team to stay updated on market developments and ensure an attractive compensation scheme for our train team.
Onboarding and Training: Ensure successful onboarding for new employees. Support the organization and development of our FlixTrain academy in collaboration with our academy team, including assessing and working with external training providers.
Performance Management: Implement a performance management process suitable for train staff, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans to support employee growth and advancement.

Your Profile - Join our team

At least 8 years of experience in similar positions, preferably with experience in managing people topics at organizations with a deskless workforce.
