ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer diagnostic tests, such as tonometry and confrontational visual field testing
- Assist ophthalmologists during procedures
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Clean and maintain ophthalmic instruments and equipment
- Previous experience as an ophthalmic technician or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of aseptic technique for maintaining a sterile environment
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to the eye
- Familiarity with medical office procedures and HIPAA regulations
As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting ophthalmologists in providing high-quality eye care to our patients.
Your attention to detail, technical skills, and ability to work well with patients will contribute to the success of our practice.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as an Ophthalmic Technician is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Pay:
$ $22.00 per hour
