Security Officer - Long Island City, United States - Impervious Protection & Consultant Group, Inc.

Job hours:
Saturday & Sunday (12 pm - 8 pm)

Responsibilities:

Ø Conduct security services as outlined in Post Orders and directed by Impervious' management team

Ø Must be professional with a neat appearance & well groomed

Ø Act as a visible deterrent to crime

Ø Conduct security rounds in designated areas

Ø Manage a list of individuals who are authorized to use the pool

Ø Observe and report suspicious activities and persons

Ø Write detailed narrative reports and maintain a digital log-book

Ø Prepare incident reports when necessary

Ø Enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures regarding pool use

Ø Respond to emergencies that require security assistance.


Compensation:
$18 - $19 per hour based on experience


Qualifications:

Ø Must be able to stand for long periods

Ø Must be available to have a flexible schedule

Ø Must have reliable transportation or know how to navigate via public transportation

Ø Must be fluent in English (second languages are welcome)

Ø Must possess a NYS Security Registration & updated training certificates


Job Types:

$ $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week

• Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
• Security: 3 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

• NYS Security Guard Registration (required)
