    CV Resources has partnered with a fast-growing and well-respected residential construction company on the search for a Senior Accountant *This is a full-time on-site position
    • Position Overview: We are currently seeking a well-rounded Senior Accountant to join our client's growing team.

      Reporting directly to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will play a key role in financial analysis, policy development, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies through the development and implementation of appropriate procedures.
    Lead accounts payable/receivable, vendor management, and payroll processes for multiple entities.
    Conduct general ledger account reconciliations, month-end close activities, and journal entries.
    Prepare and review financial reports, providing insights to support decision-making.
    Maintain and update accounting policies and procedure manuals.
    Collaborate with various departments to align financial strategies with organizational objectives.
    Assist with audits and examinations as required.
    Facilitate bank transactions, including account receivables, deposits, and wire transfers.
    Monitor and manage company credit card transactions.
    Process employee expense reimbursements.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.5+ years of accounting experience overseeing revenue of $15+ million.
    Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and QuickBooks.
    Strong understanding of GAAP and financial principles.
    Experience with payroll management and California sales tax preparation.
    Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
