- Review and analyze a high volume of documents for evidence to aid federal investigations in healthcare, securities, tax, banking, and money laundering violations.
- Take detailed notes during meetings held with clients and government agents.
- Conduct research using tools such as Law360, LexisNexis, Westlaw, PACER, and various government and news sources.
- Perform data analysis in SQL and Excel.
- Prepare internal and external reports and memos synthesizing findings from research, document review, data analysis, and meetings under tight deadlines.
- Communicate investigation findings to government agents through PowerPoint or Prezi presentations.
- Assist with document organization, legal document preparation, and trial preparation.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Investigative, research and analytical skills and experience
- Demonstrated proficiency and experience with a broad range of computer software including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Educational and/or professional experience background in investigative journalism or conducting research with an ability to write and edit content effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive in communications.
- Works well under pressure and able to manage competing deadlines.
- Experience reviewing and analyzing corporate documents and spreadsheets.
- Flexible to work evenings and occasional weekends.
- Experience with data analysis in SQL and related software applications preferred.
- Experience with Relativity, Logikcull or similar document review platforms preferred.
- Experience with LexisNexis, Westlaw or similar legal research platforms preferred.
- Spanish language skills would be a plus.
