Description
The General Vicariate with its departments and other offices is the central administration of the Archdiocese of Cologne.


We are currently seeking several Property Officers (m/f/d) for the Property Service Center in Lexington, MO, with a workload of 60 to 100%.

The positions are permanent.


The Property Service Center manages around 23,000 property-related contracts for the church communities, ensuring the use of church property by third parties and generating income.


Your responsibilities

  • Administration and processing of leasehold, lease, and usage agreements, including a review of the associated contracts and land registers, tracking of contract deadlines, and handling of contract transfers and encumbrances of leasehold rights
  • Negotiation and conclusion of new leasehold, lease, and usage agreements, including contractual (notarial) and land register implementation, as well as determining conditions for leasehold extensions and new leases
  • Billing and indexation of agreed usage fees
  • Correspondence with contract partners, banks, authorities, etc., as well as representatives of the church legal entities (church council) as property owners, including preparation of necessary resolutions
  • Initial input and updating of data on leasehold, lease, and usage agreements in the property information system, as well as management of contract files according to uniform guidelines

Your profile

  • Completed training in real estate management, such as real estate clerk, notary assistant, legal officer, or equivalent qualification
  • Professional experience in property and landrelated contract management
