As we continue to grow, we are seeking an Overnight Safety Coordinator to handle any issues that arise overnight.

As the Overnight Safety Coordinator at H.R. Ewell, you will be responsible for the overnight operation of the Safety department.

This involves working with drivers for issues related to hours of services, dispatch issues, sick calls, incident, and accident reporting.


Responsibilities:


  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Assist drivers with issues in a variety of areas such as hours of service, sick calls, dispatch issues, incident reporting and accident reporting.
  • Maintain accurate records of safetyrelated incidents and compliance documentation.
  • Stay uptodate on changes to regulations and industry standards related to transportation safety.
  • Act as a resource for drivers and other employees on safetyrelated issues, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Review dashcam events from drivers as identified by PeopleNet.
  • Provides technical support on operational systems with the safety department as well as in emergency situations.

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience in a safetyrelated role, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
  • Indepth knowledge of DOT regulations, FMCSA guidelines, and other applicable safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate safety policies and procedures to diverse audiences.
  • Detailoriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Indepth knowledge of PeopleNet or other E-Log platforms is required.

Job Type:
Part-time


Pay:
$ $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
