- Provide direct physical therapy services to patients as per their treatment plans and in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patients' physical therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results.
- Administer therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques to improve patients' mobility, strength, and function.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to continue therapy at home.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Stay informed about best practices and developments in physical therapy through continuing education and professional development activities.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of New Jersey.
- Ability to complete or obtain any additional requirements for practicing in New Jersey, if necessary.
- Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
