Electrician on Board Costa Crociere (M/F/d):
Your Responsibilities:
- As an electrician on board Costa Crociere, you will be responsible for performing daily checks on main switchboards and substations, assessing their capacity and understanding electrical symbols and diagrams.
- You will also be in charge of operating medium/low voltage and all switchboards, including the emergency switchboard. It is important to have a thorough understanding of force distribution and the location of substations and utilities, as well as knowing the correct measures to take in case of emergencies.
- In addition, you will manage interventions in the guest areas, correctly processing work requests and orders, and performing maintenance on various electrical equipment such as engines, motors, transformers, and panels.
- You will also assist the Electrician Officers in operating safety equipment, such as lifeboat electrical winches and motors, emergency light batteries, and more.
- Finally, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining electrical machinery related to deck, galley, laundry, and bar equipment.
Your Profile:
- To be considered for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Electronic or Electrical Field and Industrial Automation. Certification as an electrician in your own country is a plus.
- You should also have at least 2 years of experience as an electrician on board a vessel and 2 years of experience in maintenance service in an industrial plant on shore.
- Holding a COP III/7 per STCW
