    Description

    Natural Gas Trader – Northeast

    Overview:

    As a Northeast Natural Gas Trader, you will be responsible for executing trades and managing risks associated with natural gas commodities in the Northeast region of the United States. You will utilize your expertise in market analysis, pricing trends, and regulatory factors to optimize trading strategies and maximize profitability of both Asset-backed & Proprietary Trades for the company.

    Responsibilities:

    • thorough analysis of supply and demand dynamics, pipeline capacities, weather patterns, and regulatory developments affecting the Northeast natural gas market as well as the L48.
    • VAR across defined trading regions through sophisticated and balanced trading strategies
    • spot, futures, and options trades on various exchanges to capitalize on market inefficiencies and arbitrage opportunities.
    • and maintain relationships with counterparties, brokers, and exchanges to facilitate trade execution.
    • commodity, transportation and storage positions within company approved limits
    • existing & prospective assets / positions to maximize earnings

    Qualifications:

    • Degree or Master's ( preferred ) Degree in statistics, math, finance, commerce, or other relevant discipline
    • 15 years of related experience
    • & demonstrable positive PnL development history
    • ability to articulate fundamentals driving the current and future natural gas market (Supply/Demand/Infrastructure) and make decisions based on this information
    • of Capacity Release bidding and execution
    • of energy contracts like Futures, OTC, Options, shaped contracts, collars, and other derivatives
    • knowledge of, and insight into specific tariffs & operations along ANR, TCO and CGT, as well as regional 3rd Party pipes such as TETCO, TRANSCO, TGP, AGT, TCO, IROQOUIS, MARITIMES
