Job Description Summary:

The Electrical Materials Expeditor will be responsible for coordinating the timely delivery of EPC construction materials to job sites by working closely with suppliers, field teams, and project managers to ensure that materials are ordered, delivered, and stocked efficiently to meet project timelines.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

Coordinate with suppliers at contract award to ensure orders meet quality standards, project specifications, and timely delivery of materials and equipment, according to project schedules.
Monitor and track the progress of material and equipment orders to ensure they meet timely delivery according to project schedules.
Communicate with vendors to resolve any issues or delays in procurement or delivery.
Expedite critical orders and prioritize deliveries based on project requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on procurement needs.
Ability to work across all time zones of the contiguous United States
Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and deliveries.
Identify and address potential risks or delays in the supply chain.
Provide regular updates to project teams on the status of materials and equipment deliveries.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.

Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:

Proven experience in expediting, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the PV and BESS industry.
Knowledge of electrical materials and construction processes is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Familiarity with procurement processes, vendor management, and logistics.
Proficiency in using procurement and supply chain management software.
