Ground Floor Opportunity

  • We will invest in and train you to develop you into a Senior Accountant and or Controller with Compensation targets of $125k+
Our approach is a 3 phase plan


Phase 1 ($65k-$70k Salary Range including incentives

  • Focused on Accounts payable and Accounts receivable processing, managing credit card transactions and reconciliation, processing payments, extracting, and importing data between systems, organizing accounting files including invoices, vender and jurisdictional compliance paperwork, misc. taxes and licensing information.

Phase 2 ($70-85k Salary Range including incentives)

  • Masterly of skills from Phase 1 plus Advanced Excel and Office 365 work, reconciliation of all accounts, managing accounting staff, Balance Sheet and Income Statement management, management of external vendors related to accounting and finance department, related software programs and advanced reporting. Cash Forecasting and reporting on company key performance indicators and metrics.

Phase 3 ($85k-$125k Salary Range including incentives)

  • Mastery of all skills from Phase 1 and Phase 2 plus Proactive improvement for all processes and utilized systems, automation, preparation and completion of monthend financial statements, managing preparation and completion of tax returns, working with external stakeholders, participating in and advising senior leadership on health of company, preparation of and managing annual budget's.

KEY COMPETENCIES

  • GAAP and financialreporting, technical skills
  • Proficiency with Foundation or other accounting software, MS Office Suite, Adobe, Windows, DocuSign, Google Suite
  • Working knowledge of taxation and corporate structures
  • Proactive approach to problemsolving, and process improvement
  • Ability to thrive in an environment of change and growth
  • Process development
  • Forecasting and Solid analysis skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Auditing, accounting, and corporate financing

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance, or equivalent business experience
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in bookkeeping
  • Experience with financialreporting requirements

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
