Engineering Project Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning Support:


  • Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, and other project planning activities.
  • Compile and distribute project documentation, including meeting agendas, minutes, and action items.

Resource Coordination:


  • Coordinate resources and materials needed for project activities.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to procure necessary resources.
  • Track resource allocations and utilization throughout the project lifecycle.

Communication and Collaboration:


  • Serve as a central point of contact for project team members and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication between project stakeholders and ensure timely dissemination of project information.
  • Coordinate crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.

Documentation and Reporting:


  • Maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and status reports.
  • Generate regular progress reports and updates for project managers and stakeholders.
  • Organize and maintain project files and records in a centralized repository.

Quality Assurance:


  • Assist in monitoring project deliverables to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Support quality assurance activities, such as inspections and audits, as needed.
  • Identify and report any deviations from project requirements or standards.

Risk Management:


  • Identify potential risks and issues affecting project timelines or outcomes.
  • Assist in developing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Monitor and track risks throughout the project lifecycle and escalate as necessary.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project coordination or administration, preferably in an engineering or technical environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project or Asana.
  • Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
