Bray Controls, a subsidiary of Bray International, Inc., is currently seeking a Shipping Swingman /Forklift Operator for a position at our facility in Northwest Houston, Texas.

The Shipping Swingman will be responsible for not only for shipping, but must be able to swing to the warehouse, and or receiving as workload demands fluctuate to prevent bottle necks and constraints.

The ability to be detailed oriented, multitask, and operate a stand-up reach forklift & sit-down forklift is a requirement for this position.

Pick, pack, and process both domestic & international orders to customers, and verifying that product arrives on time and to the right person.

Other responsibilities may include computing the cost of freight, putting together invoices, and verifying product shipment. Perform quality check to ensure package contents fulfill customer order documentation.

Coordinate materials receiving, supply, and movement:
including stock identification, loading, and unloading, storage, and transfer. Label new inventory items, identify warehouse bin location. Perform and assist in inventory control activities, including physical and cycle counts. Maintain neat, clean, and orderly warehouse and storage operations. Perform other inventory duties as assigned. Perform pre-shift checks of equipment and perform daily material checklist and turn in requisitions. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Labeling and staging freight for all carriers and loading and unloading trucks.
  • Making transactions in the computer system
  • Maintain neat, clean, and orderly shipping area
  • Will be required to operate various pieces of equipment to include forklifts and packaging equipment
  • Perform other duties as required by management.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma.
  • 2+ years' experience performing warehouse and materials handling, inventory management, forklift/power equipment operation, and shipping/receiving duties.
  • Ability to multitask, problem solve and remain highly organized, and detail oriented Possess strong work ethic.
  • Available to work overtime hours when needed.
  • Valid Driver's License in good standing. Permanent work authorization for the USA REQUIRED.

Experience:
