Intake/Outreach Director, Behavioral Health ServicesSignet Health, a national behavioral health management company, is currently recruiting for a full-time seasoned Intake/Outreach Director for the psychiatric inpatient services (adolescent and adult units) for an 80-bed program at Cone Health Behavioral Health Hospital in Greensboro, NC.
The Intake/Outreach Director reports to the Behavioral Health Executive Director at the Facility.This position will lead a team of Administrative Coordinators responsible for the completion of the initial intake assessments, and inpatient admission to the facility.
This individual is also responsible for providing community education support and implement referral development strategies that result in a positive community image and assist the facility in meeting its goals.
It is expected this individual is recognized as a professional role model and promotes an environment that supports the goals, mission, vision, philosophy, and values of the behavioral health unit.
Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, and safety standards. Provides assessment evaluations, determines level of care, makes treatment recommendations. Coordinates the admission process with appropriate team members including Registration / Admissions and Nursing.Refers inquiries to other agencies and community resources when not appropriate for facility admission
Local travel.
Bachelor's Degree in a health or business field required; Proven experience in Business Development OR Marketing for behavioral health, long-term care, or related field.
Working knowledge of Inpatient and outpatient mental health, and healthcare reimbursement.Strong social, presentation, interpersonal and writing skills needed.
