MECHATRONICS TECHNICIAN

Mechatronics technicians are true all-rounders: mechanics, electronics, and control technology - with your broad expertise, you are the specialist for complex machines and production systems.


During your three and a half year dual training, you will learn how a mechanic processes metal parts, how an electrician masters electricity, and how an IT specialist understands digital control units and technical connections.

It's almost like doing three jobs at once. Through these diverse training contents, you will acquire a broad knowledge spectrum and practical skills. You will be accompanied by our trainers and experienced colleagues who will gradually introduce you to your tasks.

As a mechatronics technician, you will be responsible for the assembly, maintenance, and repair of complex systems and machines in our company.

You will build complex mechatronic systems, such as robots or control elements for industrial production, from mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.

You will also inspect individual components and assemble them into systems and machines. Afterwards, you will commission the finished systems, program them, or install the corresponding software.

You will also perform quality controls and check the functionality of the systems and connections based on circuit diagrams or construction drawings.

During this process, you will maintain and, if necessary, repair the mechatronic systems
