SUMMARY:


Supply Analyst will coordinate with our production planning, demand planning, finance and procurement teams to optimize inventory levels including safety stock, and encourage asset utilization that minimizes waste, maximizes inventory turns and promotes cash flow objectives.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Continuously monitors bulk, component, safety stock and finished goods inventory levels, and production schedules. Communicate instock levels, changes, and rationale for all customers.
  • Recommends adjustments to schedules, demand forecasts and purchase orders based on analyses of instock inventories including safety stock, weeks of supply, requirements and availabilities.
  • In collaboration with finance and planning teams, craft and implement strategies to ensure instock / safety stock inventories levels are maintained in a manner that enables that the company to meet customer demands, enables agile responses to changes in customer requirements and eliminates bulk inventories that expires inhouse.
  • Maintain safety stock and reduce overstock inventories.
  • Keep production planning informed as to instock inventories to ensure effective longterm production schedules / plans.
  • Communicate actionable insights to guide the sales and marketing teams.
  • Track performance, pull data, draw insights, and provide stakeholders informative information.
  • Provide Production Planning guidance on prioritizing selected work orders.
  • Assist in resolving conflicts regarding targeted ship dates.
  • Prepare detailed reports on outcomes and sales.
  • Additional assigned tasks as needed.

Requirements:


REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Data modeling and analysis experience.
  • A minimum of three (3) years' Materials planning, supply chain analysis or related experience.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three (3) years' experience in production planning, supply chain planning, or logistics.
