Human Resource Generalist
Danzer Veneer Americas Inc., a leading hardwood quality company with locations in 10 countries around the globe, is looking for a Human Resource Generalist for our Williamsport, Pennsylvania facility.
We are looking for a talented individual with a suitable background who wants to work in a dynamic, respectful and collaborative environment.
FLSA classification:
Exempt, non-management position
Reports to:
Operations Manager
Salary range:

Duties:
- Responsible for weekly payroll processing and all administrative duties for Human Resources
- Handles the facility's onboarding and offboarding process, including orientation.
- Responsible for administering employee benefits
- Maintains employee records and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Works with HR systems such as Workday, PeopleSoft, Dayforce, ADP, ATS, SAP, Kronos, etc.
- Responsible for handling workers' compensation claims, maintaining the OSHA 300 log, and working with the environmental and safety coordinator to conduct investigations and follow up.
- Works closely with Human Resources Manager on policies, procedures, and employee relations issues.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
Experience:
- Associate's degree in human resources or related field. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least four years of human resources required.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Positive attitude and interaction with all levels of employees
- Bilingual in English and Spanish not required but a plus.
- Experience with payroll processing and time and attendance systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Experience with onboarding, orientation, and benefits
- Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
- Detailoriented with excellent organizational skills
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, SAP, IBM Lotus Notes

$40, $60,000.00 per year
