Job Title:
Contracted Driver

You use your own car to drive students from their house to their school in the morning, and then back home in the afternoon when school lets out.

This job came about due to the shortage of school bus drivers and is similar to Uber in that you are operating your own car like a school bus.

How It Works

• Pay is given based on the number of trips, not the number of students.

-
2 trips: one trip from the student's house to the school in the morning, then one trip in the afternoon from the student's school to their home. Usually takes around 2 hours in total.
$90/day

3 Trips: 2 Trips + one more trip either in the morning or in the afternoon. Usually takes around 3 hours in total.
$135/day

4 Trips: Two trips in the morning, two trips in the afternoon. Usually takes around 4 hours.
$180/day

• There are other types of trips other than the ones mentioned above. If the ride distance is far, then pay increases.
• Once you become contracted to the company, we will give you an offer, and once you accept the offer, your work begins.
• You are paid by check every week as a 1099 contract worker, meaning you report your taxes with a 1099 form.
• The company will consider your location when assigning you a route, but sometimes you may have to go far. In this case, you have the option of accepting or declining the offer.
• During the school semester, you will need to give rides from Monday through Friday. However, on days students don't go to school, like on holidays or during break, there is no work. During summer break, you could give students rides to summer school.

Qualification

• 21 years or older
• Have a Wisconsin Driver's License
• Have your own car that has 4 or more doors (Sedan, SUV, Mini Van, 4 door and more)
• Have a Social Security Number
• Pass Drug Test, Negative TB Test, Pass Vehicle Safety Inspection.

If you pay the fee beforehand,

you will be reimbursed in your first paycheck.
