    We have partnered with an award winning Upstream oil and gas company that is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to grow their team to support their customers projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow with a company that plans on continuing their growth looking for individuals that want to grow with them.

    Role Overview: As a Cyber Engineer (Blue Team), you will play a crucial role in defending clients' systems and networks against cyber threats. You will work closely with our blue team analysts and security operations center (SOC) team to proactively monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents. In this hybrid role, you will have the opportunity to leverage your technical expertise to design and implement innovative solutions while also providing strategic guidance to enhance our clients' security posture.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Monitor security logs and alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
    • Investigate security incidents and conduct root cause analysis to determine the scope and impact of breaches.
    • Develop and implement security controls, policies, and procedures to mitigate risks and improve overall security posture.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess security requirements and recommend solutions to address complex security challenges.
    • Stay up-to-date on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices in cybersecurity.

    Qualifications:

    • 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on blue team operations.
    • Strong technical proficiency in security technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and network security.
    • Experience with security incident response, including malware analysis, threat hunting, and forensic investigations.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

    Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
