- Ensure awareness of regulatory requirements among Southwire North Campus Plant management staff
- Create processes to identify, evaluate, and control workplace hazards

Environmental Health and Safety Specialist
The Environmental Health and Safety Specialist position at Southwire North Campus Plant involves ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations while overseeing program management. This role requires providing expertise on regulatory requirements, organizing environmental and safety activities, and monitoring operations to meet all regulatory and company standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Requirements
The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or Science discipline relevant to health, safety, and environmental fields. Additionally, a minimum of three years of experience in industrial health, safety, and environmental activities is required. Knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, NEC, etc.), familiarity with the VPP process, and professional certification are preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work flexible hours are essential.
