    Description

    An established cardiology practice in the Glendale, Arizona area is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their team.

    This is a full-time, permanent role. Candidates will working alongside a team of Physicians and APPs. The role involves a mix of outpatient clinic and hospital rounding. Typical shifts are 7am-3:30pm or 8am-4pm. Occasional swing shifts 2pm-10pm (3-4 per month).

    *Responsibilities: * 50/50 split outpatient/inpatient

    • Examine patients, take medical history, record results, and make preliminary diagnosis
    • Document patient care services
    • Administer and order diagnostic tests
    • Perform therapeutic procedures
    • Exercise professional judgment regarding consultation with supervising physicians concerning appropriate treatment
    • Develop and implement patient care plans, instruct and counsel patients, and record progress
    • Prescribe medications
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care
    *Qualifications:
    • Active Arizona State License
    • Ability to build rapport with patients
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
