    Want to work in a fun and unique work environment? Redwine & Co. is seeking an experienced cook to join our team at our establishment's on-site food truck. We're open to both a FT or PT cook to join our team.

    About Us:

    We are a family owned and operated bar, located in the heart of the Reading Bridal District. Our food service is providing by our on-site food truck. What's even better? This food truck doesn't take orders at the window - the bar staff handles it all.

    We have been in operation since 2017 and business is growing We offer slightly elevated pub food that is easily executable. The kitchen closes at 10P on weekends and 9P on Sundays & Mondays. Additionally, we are always closed on the following holidays: Mother's Day, Father's Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve + Christmas Day.

    The job description includes but is not limited to the following:

    • Food Truck setup
    • Following sanitation and food safety guidelines at all times
    • Prep of food items prior to food service
    • Prepare and cook our menu to order on the truck
    • Dishes, Stocking, Cleaning, Opening and closing procedures.

    Requirements & Skills:

    • Must be able to work weekends; we do offer flexible scheduling options
    • Be able to work in varying weather and temperature conditions
    • Ability to lift 25 lbs
    • Ability to use a knife
    • Ability to use a fryer and flat top grill
    • Able to follow instructions for recipes, sanitation guidelines and food safety guidelines
    • Individual must be a self-starter and able to self-direct
    • Prior short order cook experience highly preferred but we will train the right person
