Description
We are working with an international chemicals manufacturer seeking a Manufacturing Manager in their DFW area location. This person should have a background in Chemical Engineering and will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the manufacturing processes within their operations. Responsible for ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety, the manager leads a team to implement strategies, streamline operations, and drive continuous improvement. With a focus on compliance, innovation, and collaboration, this role is essential in scaling up production while maintaining high standards.Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety.
Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to optimize production output and minimize costs.
Lead and manage a team of production supervisors, engineers, and technicians.
Coordinate with other departments such as engineering, quality control, and supply chain to streamline operations.
Implement and maintain manufacturing best practices, including lean manufacturing principles.
Monitor production metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous process optimization.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
Drive initiatives for innovation and technology adoption to enhance manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with R&D teams to scale up new products from development to production.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in manufacturing management within the chemical industry.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
In-depth knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes and equipment.
Experience with quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in project management and resource allocation.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
