Technology is a new function within Group IT with a big stake in the Groups digital transformation. We will modernize Volvos core digital backbone making it a platform for digital products, but at the same time also perform

keeping services and capabilities up and running to ensure business deliveries exceed Volvos competitors.
We collaborate with other parts of the organization, both in Group IT, with TD/BAs and Group Functions. We want to encourage an environment where ideas, thoughts and opinions can be shared. We are team players with clear common ambitions.

This is how you could make an impact

In your role, you are adding value by developing high performing teams and building great collaboration with the stakeholders & partners in your deliveries.

In addition, you are driving the change management necessary to reach the transformation goals and support executing the Volvo Group Trucks Technology and PDM portfolio strategy.

The two teams manage development and maintenance of technical and project documentation applications.

This means storage, version handling and searching the vast number of product and project describing documents that are produced, mainly by GTT.

Team 1
Manages applications dealing with project documents, test reports and product documentation, such as drawings, CAD files and Technical Requirements
Team 2
Manages Penta and Volvo Parts unique storage applications as well as solutions handling translations and physical prototype.
We believe you strike a balance between strategy and operations, business and technology. You are accountable, empower teams and foster collaboration.

To be successful in this position you need the ability to create engagement and secure execution of related vision and strategy.

You are a skilled communicator with a strong sense of making people feel included. As a foundation you have a relevant University degree and experience in leading people, preferably within IT management.

You have experience from inhouse developed SW and, most important, a big interest in people and how to support them to make brilliant results.
