Job Functions

  • Coordinate with department mangers when necessary to ensure optimal functioning of the hotel.
  • Able to cover shifts throughout the hotel for any department needs or callouts. Needs to have a flexible and open schedule.
  • Be very knowledgeable of Marriott Rewards programs and promotions.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of hotel staff, room locations, room rates, and surrounding area.
  • Needs to be able to work some early morning shifts.
  • Prepare food, coffee, and other beverages, when necessary.
  • Inspection of guest rooms per Marriott guidelines
  • Abide by state, federal and corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
  • Follow sustainability guidelines and practices.
  • Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
  • Must be able to work well in stressful pressure situations including ability to handle guest objections and disputes to satisfactory results.
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
  • Perform any other jobrelated duties as assigned.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Position Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Hotel experience preferred.

Work Environment Context

  • Work schedules vary and may include working on holidays and weekends and alternate shifts.
  • Requires standing for extended periods, walking pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching.
