    Description
    Our client, a leader in commercial construction specializing in Design-Build General Contracting and Structural Concrete projects, seeks an experienced

    Senior Concrete Estimator .

    This role is crucial for the detailed estimation and preliminary pricing of multi-story cast-in-place concrete structures across California, particularly for high-profile, Class A high-rise and multi-story parking structures.

    The ideal candidate will bring a depth of expertise in estimating self-performed concrete construction projects, along with a strong foundation in using advanced estimating software and methodologies.


    Job Location:
    Woodland Hills, CA.

    While the primary office is located in Woodland Hills, the nature of the projects requires frequent collaboration and coordination across various sites in California, especially within Los Angeles County, Orange County, and the Inland Empire.


    Salary Range:
    DOE $85K-200K.

    Job Duties:
    Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and preliminary pricing for multi-story cast-in-place concrete structures.

    Utilize historical data to accurately estimate man-hour production rates for various formwork systems and placing and finishing tasks.


    Leverage expertise in Excel, WinEst, Cost-OS, Timberline Precision Estimating, PlanSwift / On-Screen Takeoff; experience with Model-Based Estimating is a significant plus.

    Collaborate with project management teams to ensure accurate and competitive project estimations.

    Engage in the continuous improvement of estimating processes and tools.


    Requirements:
    A minimum of 10 years of experience in estimating self-performed multi-story cast-in-place concrete structures in California is essential.

    An excellent understanding of man-hour production rates for various formwork systems, placing, and finishing tasks, based on historical data.

    Proficiency in Excel, WinEst, Cost-OS, Timberline Precision Estimating, PlanSwift / On-Screen Takeoff; familiarity with Model-Based Estimating is advantageous.


    Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.


    Candidates must be based in California and have a demonstrated career stability, with a strong preference for those who have not frequently changed companies.
