Responsibilities

Duties:


  • Under the direction of a physician, provides direct patient care including gathering detailed history and performing physical exams
  • Performs or orders tests and interprets results
  • Administers therapeutic procedures as directed
  • Instructs on care and maintains written charts and records on patients
  • Maintains appropriate manual and electronic records (EMR)
Outpatient Volume: 10 or more patient seen daily

  • Typical work week is Mon-Fri, 40 hours weekly, clinic only

Qualifications

Minimum:


  • Graduate of an accredited program with a Master's degree in Nursing
  • Compact state or Arizona RN license
  • Arizona Advanced Practice Nurse license
  • National Certificate as an nurse practitioner in area of specialty under AZ regulations
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills and effective verbal/written communication abilities
  • Must demonstrate effective task prioritization skills and independent problem solving abilities
  • Valid DEA registration
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider

Preferred:


  • PREFERRED: American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

Pay Range
$ $72.00 /hour
