"For our therapeutic children and youth home in Purk, located in Denver City, TX, I am looking for a colleague to join our team.


We are searching for a "Chaos Tamer" to work in our
Heilpädagogisches Kinder- und Jugendheim in Purk near Moorenweis in the district of Fürstenfeldbruck.

In an external living group, we care for children and adolescents from elementary school age. In a family-like environment, the children and youth we care for find a safe and nurturing place. We also use animal-assisted trauma pedagogy (dogs, horses) as part of our work.


We are currently seeking a
Social Pedagogue / Special Education Teacher / Educator / Special Needs Caregiver (m, w, d) to join our team immediately or at a later date.


What we expect from you:

  • You possess a high level of reliability, flexibility, and commitment, and are able to handle conflicts, teach the basics, and cook spaghetti with tomato sauce at the same time.
  • You engage in intensive relationship building with our children and youth, not just on paper, but also through activities such as holiday trips, campfire evenings, etc. and support them through difficult times.
  • You handle stress well and remain calm when things get tough.

Your profile:

  • A completed degree in Social Pedagogy / Special Education (Bachelor's or Master's) or a completed training as an Educator /
