Responsibilities:


Create a Nurturing Environment:

You will design and implement a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that fosters the social, emotional, and academic growth of each child.

Your creativity will shine as you develop innovative strategies to engage and motivate students with autism.

Individualized Instruction:

Utilizing evidence-based practices, you will develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.

Your expertise in autism intervention will enable you to provide differentiated instruction, ensuring that every child thrives.

Collaborative Approach:

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, behavior analysts, and parents, to develop comprehensive strategies that support the holistic development of each child.

Data-Driven Progress Monitoring:

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Special Education Credential strongly preferred
  • Valid teaching certification with a specialization in Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Proven experience working with children with autism, preferably in an early intervention or early elementary setting
  • Indepth knowledge of evidencebased practices and interventions for students with autism
  • Strong understanding of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and experience in their development and implementation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team and parents
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of children with autism
