Job summary
This position serves as an Exhibition Designer in the Exhibits, Design, and Special Projects department at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden (HMSG). The department is responsible for planning designing coordinating interior exterior installations producing maintaining exhibitions other public private spaces of HMSG.- Use creativity innovation knowledge presenting two three-dimensional works art site-specific interior exterior artworks utilizing working knowledge art historical considerations conservation best practices devise presentation exhibition themes realize curatorial intent artist vision.
- Coordinate with curators registrars conservators exhibit fabrication installation teams establish adhere production schedules ensure aesthetically technically correct installations.
