    Job Description:

    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team within a correctional facility. This is an opportunity to provide essential healthcare services to an underserved population in a secure environment, ensuring the health and well-being of those in our care.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical providers.
    • Monitor and document patient vital signs and health conditions.
    • Perform routine clinical procedures, including wound care and health screenings.
    • Respond to medical emergencies, providing immediate and appropriate care.
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
    • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with facility policies.
    • Educate patients on health maintenance and prevention practices.
    • Adhere to all security protocols and standards within the correctional setting.
    Qualifications:
    • Current and valid LPN license in [State].
    • Previous nursing experience (experience in corrections, mental health, or urgent care preferred).
    • Strong clinical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
