Description
As a Medical Assistant, you will play an essential role in ensuring the smooth running of the office and the satisfaction of our patients.
You will work closely with our providers and assist them with a variety of clinical and administrative tasks.Responsibilities include:
Escorting patients to exam rooms and taking vital signs
Updating patient medical history and medications
Performing simple lab tests and specimen collection
Assisting with minor office procedures and wound care
Administering injections and vaccinations
Providing patient education and answering questions
Managing incoming phone calls and scheduling appointments
Handling medical records and insurance billing
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient computer skills and electronic medical record experience
Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
Pay:
$ $24.00 per hour
