- Review project plans, specifications, and site conditions to ensure readiness for execution.
- Facilitate clear communication of project requirements to all stakeholders, including subcontractors and suppliers, to ensure alignment and efficient resource allocation.
- Interpret and analyze plans and specifications to fully understand project scope and objectives.
- Collaborate with Project Superintendents and Foremen to strategically plan and organize construction activities, focusing on efficient execution and quality control.
- Proactively monitor project progress through regular updates from Project Superintendents, aiming to keep projects on schedule and within budget constraints.
- Negotiate contract revisions and amendments to accommodate project changes while maintaining strategic relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Develop detailed project schedules and resource allocation plans to ensure optimal manpower and material management.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding any project delays or significant changes, maintaining transparency and trust.
- Address and resolve any project-related issues in collaboration with supervisory personnel, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to quality standards.
- Review and evaluate construction methods weekly to enhance cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency, discussing findings and recommendations with Project Superintendents.
- Generate comprehensive progress and financial reports, utilizing real-time data to track work progress, expenditures, and adherence to schedules.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of project documentation, including approvals for materials and subcontracting plans, ensuring compliance with client specifications.
- Implement and continuously seek innovative methods to enhance project management processes and operational efficiency, sharing insights and recommendations with senior management.
- Manage the creation and submission of monthly financial summaries, ensuring timely and accurate billing and payment processing for all project-related transactions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent work experience.
- Familiar with Mississippi DOT and Alabama DOT standard specifications.
- Well organized, detail oriented, ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in team environment.
- Ability to develop productive relationships with partners.
- Highly productive and willing to manage a busy work schedule independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer knowledge and efficiency.
- Familiarity with requirements of drawings and specifications and with terms and conditions of contracts and purchase orders.

- Previous field crew experience is a plus.
