- Manage the nursing care of critically ill patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Carry out physician orders, administer medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.
- Provide respiratory and ventilator management and monitoring.
- Coordinate with all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition using computerized documentation systems.
- Instruct and educate patients and families.
- Coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
- Provide age and culturally appropriate care, orient, and mentor new staff members.
- Associate Degree, Diploma in Nursing, or BSN required.
- Current FL RN License or appropriate compact licensure (active FL RN license required within 90 days if compact license held).
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- CCRN preferred.
- At least one year of acute care experience required, with ICU experience or ICU float experience preferred.
- Shifts: Nights, 7-7.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year ICU experience or ICU float experience.
- Salary Range: $26 (2yr) - $34 (10yr).
- Sign-On Bonus: $15k (with a 2-year commitment).
- Relocation Assistance: Case by case basis.
- Night Shift Differential: $3.25/h
- Weekend Differential: $2/h
