    Description

    Brainlab Technical Support Specialist

    • Provide on-site consulting, guidance, and assistance to physicians and operating room (OR) personnel to optimize the efficiency and utilization of IGS products
    • Analyze, resolve, and troubleshoot product issues using engineering expertise
    • Direct and support Radiology staff in conducting necessary scans before surgeries
    • Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and various staff members on the use of IGS products and services
    • Develop and deliver training programs for hospital staff to facilitate in-house training
    • Act as the primary customer contact, ensuring satisfaction, assessing usage levels, and exploring opportunities to enhance revenue through spare parts and upgrades
    • Collaborate with the Senior Application Consultant, Area Account Manager, Key Account Manager, and Marketing Manager on market insights, upgrades, and research projects
    • Utilize engineering expertise to contribute to product quality improvements and modifications
    • Participate in meetings and trade shows to showcase and endorse IGS products and services
    • Stay updated on Brainlab and competitor IGS products through training, research, and analysis
    • Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting deadlines, quality standards, and efficiency benchmarks
    • Provide on-site network troubleshooting and maintenance support
    • Conduct advanced technical troubleshooting, including audio, video, control, and network signal analysis to resolve complex system issues
    • Travel required up to 25%

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
    • Experience in server, network, or virtualization infrastructure within an enterprise setting
    • Ability to handle complex tasks effectively and efficiently under pressure with minimal supervision
    • Strong technical knowledge of analog and digital electronic technology in audiovisual systems, including video conferencing and streaming media
    • Familiarity with DICOM, HL7, and EMH/EHR workflow preferred
    • 1-3 years of technical support experience, ideally in the healthcare sector
    • Knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy, and medical terminology a plus
    • Proficiency in PC software applications such as Microsoft Office
    • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of making independent decisions
