The Saale, Hof Wastewater Association, a water and soil association, operates and maintains the main collector and a collective sewage treatment plant of size class 5 for approximately residents of the city of Hof and other cities and municipalities as well as industrial and commercial enterprises in the catchment area.

For the start of your apprenticeship, we offer:

Apprenticeship as a specialist for wastewater technology (m/f/d)

What you will learn with us:

  • Control, monitoring and inspection of wastewater treatment in the mechanical, biological and chemical treatment stages
  • Analysis of wastewater and sludge samples, documentation and evaluation of results and optimization of treatment processes
  • Various tasks in the workshop, laboratory, control room and outdoors
  • Inspection and repair of electrical systems under supervision as a "qualified electrical person"
  • Basic knowledge in the electrical and administrative fields
  • Teaching of knowledge about different wastewater treatment techniques as well as in-depth knowledge in chemistry and physics
