Description

Hideaway is looking for a skilled and experienced mechanic to join our team.

As a mechanic at Hideaway, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair work on a variety of construction equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and dump trucks.

This will involve troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing complex hydraulic systems, electrical systems, engines, transmissions, and other components. You will also be responsible for retrofitting and installing hydraulic systems, as well as creating damage reports.

To be successful in this role, you should have a completed apprenticeship as a mechanic for agricultural or construction machinery, or a similar technical education.

Previous experience in the service sector with construction equipment is also required.

You should have a strong understanding of engine technology, hydraulics, and electronics, as well as proficiency in using computers for work documentation and ordering replacement parts.
