Norwood School is seeking individuals to serve as Part-Time Campus Security for evenings and weekends.

They will be responsible for the assistance with auxiliary rental groups, general campus oversight, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, employees, and visitors by enforcing the school's existing policies and recommending new ones, as needed.

A qualified applicant will have the following:

• Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Proficiency with computers and technology; knowledge of security management software preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a variety of constituencies.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable with proven problemsolving skills.
• Strong work ethic and a high level of integrity.

The most significant responsibilities for the Part-Time Campus Security include:

• Provide interior and exterior security supervision during shift hours.
• Monitor and adjust driveway gates, as needed.
• Monitor building entrances and direct all visitors to their respective locations.

Complete incident reports for circumstances when warranted.

• Always maintain a professional demeanor and interact positively with students, coworkers, parents, and other visitors.
• Stamina to spend long periods of time walking and standing and to complete security patrol duties. Ability to patrol outdoors in inclement and extreme weather conditions.
• Outdoor cleanup while walking campus (trash, other debris, articles of clothing, books ).
• Work hours are weekday evenings and/or weekends.
• Required to wear the designated security uniforms.
• May be asked to assist with special event set ups and take downs, and other duties as required.
• First aid and CPR certification through course offered at Norwood School.
