Do you have a passion for working with Semiconductor manufacturing equipment? As a technical support engineer, you will be responsible for onsite installations, repairs, and maintenance of semiconductor equipment primarily in Hillsboro, Oregon. Get ready to undergo training in Austin, Texas or Hillsboro, Oregon for a period of 1-3 months.

Main Responsibilities:

Check and maintain equipment within factory standard specifications
Instruct customers on the operation and maintenance of the system equipment
Serve as a company liaison with customers for assigned projects
Perform repairs, maintenance, and replacements independently and with others
Provide technical support to customers, answering operation and troubleshooting questions
Identify and report equipment errors for troubleshooting
Conduct training for customer personnel
Collaborate with other technicians in the field for equipment service

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of Linux operating system preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing equipment
- Hands-on mechanical and electronic testing skills required
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team under challenging situations
- Additional experience in optics, lasers, software, robotics, or mechanical skills a plus
- Willingness to travel and work flexible schedules
- Domestic travel may be required
