Overview:

East Valley Location

Operations Coordinator:

this role manages assigned front-desk operations staff, including but not limited to hiring, scheduling, monitoring workload, conducting performance evaluations, and implementing disciplinary action.


Responsibilities:


  • Monitors staffing assignments for optimizing impact on clinic and patient visits.
  • Coordinates staff vacation requests and arranges for coverage of critical office functions.
  • Assist with strategic planning for clinic operations.
  • Conducts staff meetings
  • Manual tracking of Incoming and Outgoing members
  • Monitoring of several required reports that sustain frontend operations.
  • Tracking of Petty Cash funds monthly
  • Coordinates case transfers to other sites within the agency, as well as those to other agencies/networks.
  • Plans individual work assignments for Operations staff.
  • Assists in communicating operational policy and procedures to staff at their site.
  • Provides orientation and ongoing training for office functions.
  • Coordinates the intake process, ensuring that intakes are processed according to the various contract requirements and Operations policy.
  • Purchases supplies, maintains phone lists, and newhire tracking.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma, with coursework or significant experience in computer science and/or records management preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, management, or computer science is preferred and may be considered in place of the required experience.
  • Previous work experience in a position requiring significant public contact, preferably in a medical office, office organization skills, and ability to type 45 wpm.
  • Prior Behavioral Health experience preferred.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Computer experience with NextGen and Microsoft Office preferred.
