DVS is looking for an Data Security Analyst to support a large DoD team. The work location will be Fort Huachuca, AZ position and will support the RCC-C, which provides cutting-edge technology in an enterprise environment.

DESCRIPTION:

Perform all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction
Demonstrated ability to develop IT security standards and procedures
Develop and promote standard operating procedures to ensure the security posture of the environment
Engage in continuous learning to stay abreast on new and emerging technologies that relate to information security
Ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

HS + 4 years of similar experience, or AA/AS or BS/BA +0
Security+ CE or equivalent IAT II certification required at time of hire
CEH, CISA, GSNA within 60 days of hire
Secret clearance or ability to obtain interim
Ability to work shift work
An ability to communicate effectively both orally and in a written form with users and office staff
Work independently and within a team structure
An ability to set priorities and organize work to meet deadlines
Establish and maintain a cooperative working relationship with those contacted during the course of the work day
Thorough knowledge information security and analysis

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Be able to maintain awareness during scheduled working hours
Prolonged periods sitting or standing at desk and working on a computer (mouse and keyboard)
Able to lift up to 15 pounds
Excellent verbal and written communication; good command of the English language
Execute tasks independently and work as a team
Learns and memories routine tasks
Strong organizational, grammar, business correspondence, and self-management skills
