- Responsible for all activities relating to information assurance procedures and systems.
- Plan, implement, and update security measures and controls to protect an organization's computer systems, networks, and data from security breaches.
- Perform vulnerability scanning and reporting.
- Perform vulnerability remediation.
- Identify and analyze violations and security breaches, determine their root cause, and reperform remediation.
- Investigates and appropriately responds to active alerts and security breaches.
- Collaborates with the security team to determine the best solution to address detected vulnerabilities.
- Consults with and advises other sections regarding internal controls and security procedures.
- Monitor compliance with cyber security policies and procedures across the installation.
- Prepares activity and progress reports relating to the information systems audit function.
- Additional duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- ITIL Foundations within 6 months.
- SECRET Clearance (ability to obtain clearance for Associate level)
- Security + CE
- Must be a US citizen.
- Able to work Overtime as required.
- Must be available to travel as required. Associate Level (Experience & Education) – 0–3 years related experience / Associate degree in a related field Intermediate Level (Experience & Education) – 4–6 years related experience / Associate degree in a related field (Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred).
