    PRIMARY FUNCTION:

    The Director of Capture is responsible for working with the Vice President of Business Development and Subsidiary Capture Leads in developing and successfully proposing viable business opportunities for Yulista Holding subsidiary companies.

    Leads and manages personnel and planning related to business development, capture and proposal management.
    Coordinates with assigned leads within each Yulista subsidiary to increase collaboration across Enterprise.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    Reports directly to the Vice President of Business Development.

    Perform the following functions in a matrixed organization:

    capture and strategic planning, market research, key event and milestone coordination, and leading pre-marketing activities that increase shareholders value and increase YHLs win percentage.

    Develop formal technical presentations and written plans that convey Profit and Loss Models, risk, ROI, and work load plans that provide YHL subsidiaries with the basis of information to make sound decisions to invest limited resources to the capture of new business opportunities.

    Serve as the proposal manager in the event that YHL proposal managers are tasked on other efforts.

    Author or assist in the authoring of Management, Past Performance, Technical, and Cost volumes of proposals, while assuring that YHL submittals are compliant to US Government and commercial statements of work and solicitations.

    Under the direct supervision of the Vice President of Business Development, this position will work in concert with subsidiary presidents, capture leads and YHL Contracts, Finance, Security, Human Resources, and BD team to recruit sub-contractors, develop teaming and price-to-win strategies and recruit appropriate personnel to effectively bid the opportunityUtilizes capture software (for resource information and proposals) to develop a New Business Opportunity pipeline (ensuring opportunities in the system are accurately identified, updated, and elevated to receive attention, as necessary).Equip subsidiary presidents and holding company management with the background and information required to make informed decisions on opportunities.

    Perform gap analyses, color reviews, such as Black, Blue, Green, Pink, Red, and Gold reviews to ensure technical documents are compliant to solicitations and bidsIn concert with YHL Finance and Subsidiary Pricing Teams, develop BOEs and pricing strategies to capture work and increase company profitabilityIn concert with the Vice President of Business Development, continuously advise subsidiary presidents and capture leads on current market developments that impact teaming and pricing strategies.

    In concert with YHL Subsidiary Executive management, negotiate work share and teaming arrangements ensuring compliance with the FAR and other regulatory requirementsThe Director of Capture may be required to perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization


    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
    This job has no supervisory responsibilities. This position has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and


    ABILITIES:
    Advanced computer skills specifically using Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn additional computer skills or software programs. Working knowledge of advanced software applications is preferredAbility to enter data accurately into databases.
    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

    Ability to write routine reports and correspondenceInterpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff.

    Will also routinely interact with external contacts such as customers, vendors, suppliers, shipping companies, etc. Must represent the company in a professional manner at all times.

    Must be tr stworthy - will handle confidential information routinelyMust possess effective oral and technical written communication skills to clearly communicate information to others.

    Ability to use general office equipment such as fax, phone, copier, scanner, printers, etc.
    Ability to follow a process.
    Strong professional customer service skills, including active listening, prompt service and follow-up.

    QUALIFICATIONS:


    Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or associated degreeOperational experience as a Project or Program Manager supporting DoD programsProven experience in the Capture Management to include processes and protocols from approval to bid - proposal - capture/award - transitionExperience with Customer Relationship Management software and solutions, preferably SalesForce, DeltekExperience in developing bids and estimates from job walks.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, and Deltek products preferredEntrepreneurial outlook that creates solutions to customers PWS at competitive costMust be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance


    HIGHLY DESIRABLE:
    PMP CertificationUS Government or Military background with a concentration in contracting or program management
