    Description

    We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a Business Development/Capture Manager

    Axxeum is a global provider of aviation services based in Huntsville, Alabama with hangar facilities at the Huntsville International Airport. Our focus is on serving U.S. Government, U.S. Security Assistance Partner governments, and private aviation clients worldwide through innovative solutions.

    Location: Huntsville, AL

    Position Status: Full Time

    Work Schedule:
    Regular hours are Monday - Friday between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Flexibility may be required during high-demand periods.

    Travel: Up to 30% travel may be necessary, both domestically and internationally.

    Overview:

    • Contribute to win themes and pricing strategies
    • Manage opportunities from initial discovery to proposal submission
    • Support relationship meetings with Partners and Customers
    • Develop capture plans focusing on new business opportunities
    • Represent the company at key industry events
    • Assist with marketing activities to achieve business objectives
    • Participate in business capture planning and reviews
    • Perform additional tasks as required

    Requirements:

    • 6-10 years of Business Development experience, with 4 years in government contracting and Aviation industry knowledge
    • Experience in winning DoD support contracts
    • Proficiency in developing strategies and managing pipelines
    • Strong organizational and planning skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
    • Ability to build relationships with government and industry clients
    • Detail-oriented with analytical and multitasking skills
    • Positive and professional communication skills
    • Clearance of background check and drug screening

    Physical Requirements:
    May involve extended periods of sitting or standing, occasional lifting of over 10 pounds, and mobility for daily duties.

    Work Environment:
    Primarily indoors with potential for outside work, including various environmental conditions.
